This hasn't been the most fun-filled, or luxurious year for either of us, but I didn't want another of Eddie's birthdays to go by without a decent acknowledgement.
To start, we both had the evening off. I worked my winning smile all week long to make the tips needed to at least take the boy out for dinner (or is it supper?).
So we drive into Manhattan KS, looking for anything to do. With a little help from Vz Navigator, we found 'The Pub', in the basement of a small business strip, not far from the Seth Childs Cinema.
After the knuckleheads popping cue balls around the room called it quits,
we had the joint to ourselves, and settled right in like we come here often.
Better than that, the barkeeps loved us, and we promised to go back (maybe the next birthday :\)
Mr. Thompkins graced us with his presence :)
The Pub has a pretty sweet little atmosphere you'd expect from the title. Complete with a couple grey haired gentleman enjoying pints in a booth.
Needless to say we had a great time.
Pretty sure I had the most fun.
Misjudged my sobriety while leaving the parking lot, so skipped across the street to Target for a little late night window shopping (sobering up).
Then Target closed and with no monies left (movies was out), we sauntered back home to our pups and slept our little birthday bash off.
